Programme structure
Our programme consists of five integrated course types:
- Language courses: build a foundational understanding of grammar and vocabulary for daily application;
- Spanish applied to culture: explore cultural products and practices through the lens of the Spanish language;
- Cultural workshops: engage in hands-on activities (such as cooking and crafts) conducted in Spanish;
- Specialisation workshops: choose from varied professional and cultural topics (for example, business Spanish, theatre); and
- Social activities: participate in optional immersion events (such as film screenings and dance).

Spanish Intensive Course – Beginner Level
This course is for anyone interested in learning the Spanish language. It is adapted for but not limited to Chinese learners of Spanish, and starts from the basics, such as greetings and introductions.
Spanish Immersion Summer School
Our Spanish Immersion Summer School provides a unique experiential learning opportunity through a two-week linguistic and cultural immersion course held onsite at XJTLU. Students will increase their communicative proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and confidence when speaking Spanish.
